What is Montage Worthy?

Hi Guys..

Since some of us gathers montage worthy clips, when we get them, I think its appropriate to discuss what the standard should be for clips that are usable.

My thoughts =

Sniping: Quadfeed / Tripple / Noscope acrossmap (fillers)
Reg. gun: Quadfeed
Shoutgun: Quadfeed / Tripple
Predator: Penta+
Stealthbomb: 8+
Throwingknife: across map or tripple+
C4: Quad (tripple depending on the throw)
Nade: Quad
SnD: Quick Ace


Really want to hear your thoughts joens, since you are head of this part ?


The clips I have atm (will be updated):

Penta predator
P90 Quadfeed
P90 6man feed
M60 Quadfeed
C4 Tripple (long throw over a wall)
Dead man's hand Quad

I agree.

Top notch stuff only - no point in rushing anything.

But what I tend to do is:

Everytime I get an average shot, i put it into my thearte (or vault). And then when I get a really good clip, I just over-ride it. So i've always got 10 clips, some ranging from amazing to average, just incase.

It's a sort of safety net.

Just keep a note of what clips you guys

And don't all go after the same, so far what I can tell is that I'm the only one using a sniper. So someone fancy picking up a sniper and hitting some collats? Where's teabaggins when you need him hahah

yeah, the clips have to be stunning

Currently i believe i have 2x 6-8 man consecutive sniper kills with a collat or two included
And i have a MOAB 31-0 (No camping) gameplay, if someone needs something to commentate on xD

Are you doing commentaries? Its up to you. Just wondering.

I'm not planning on doing commentaries, it's just if someone was in need of a gameplay, they could use it if they wanted ;D

Well alright, it's all about the feeds right?

Personally I couldn't give 2 shits about the killfeed, as long as the clips are awesome, the kills don't have to be right after each other.
That's just my opinion. I have some clips, nothing special. One or two collats I think. I usually don't get good montage clips because I never try to :/

Well well, the same rule goes for the clips as last time, I want the whole game play with time and info.

dammit i did get some cool mk14 feeds but i had theatre mode turned off because i wasn't intending on making a montage or anything

Yeah, should be good montage. Joens maybe start planning songs and such?

See when people say collats - double kills with a sniper can't really be used unless there bak to back or through a wall or it's all pro.

If you should edit it, do you want the entire clip sent to you or just stored in our theater for you to fetch it?

also people, be sure to record in 57,97~ FPS... quality is key

Just put them in your "Vault" with the name saying what's in it and the time you get the kill.
I don't want any clips sent to me, just theater files.

I will make a thread about the whole thread about it.
